Prices
No price increases since 2024, and no silly dynamic pricing - just a fixed rate level for the entire bothy. The bothy will shut on 20th October for a few weeks for maintenance, and then open again from November to February. Bookings from April to October 2026 will be available from early December 2025.
- - Standard Rate £59 per night for Friday and Saturday nights.
- - Standard Rate £46 per night for Sunday to Thursday nights.
- - Winter Rate (November to February) £45 per night for Friday and Saturday nights.
- - Winter Rate (November to February) £35 per night for Sunday to Thursday nights.
- No Minimum hire period - We recommend a stay of 2-5 nights.
- Flat rates throughout the season, for the entire bothy (which sleeps six), not per person.
The bothy is run to make a small surplus/profit, which will be re-invested in the bothy (repaying the initial set up costs e.g.new wood burning stove, flue, furniture etc, creating a sinking fund for larger repairs (roof, windows etc), plus ongoing improvements and/or developing further bothies.
The small print can be boring, and is often ignored, but to avoid any issues with your holiday, please read the following before you book.
The weekly rental cost includes:
- Sole use of the bothy for the period of hire
- Detailed booking pack regarding the route to the bothy, things to do, history etc
The weekly rental cost does not include:
- Cleaning between visits - so you will need to leave it clean and tidy
- Smokeless fuel for the stove and gas canister for the cooker (these will need to be carried in with you)
- Accommodation for more than six
- Bedding, towels etc
